The picturesque setting and delightful food made for an enjoyable stay, but the room was not as pictured and could use some updates. Service was warm, and the owners were hospitable, though the breakfast was less varied than expected.

Prospect Hill is a true gem. The owners, Doc and his family, treat you like family. Stayed in the Groom's quarters with fresh new carpet and a cozy fireplace. Breakfast in the room was delightful, tasty, and just right in portion size. Enjoyed a strong Gin & Tonic before dinner, which was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas to explore. However, the lack of TV or modern tech can be surprising, but it's meant for disconnection. The property needs a bit of maintenance. some areas show their age. I noticed a lack of extra towels and kitchenware in the room. Despite that, the privacy and charm made the stay special. Would recommend it without hesitation, especially for romantic getaways.

Staying here with my three grandkids was a joy! We loved exploring the beautiful grounds filled with cute animals, especially the alpacas. The absence of TVs allowed us to bond over board games on the porch in the evenings, creating lasting memories together.

My kids wished for more activities specifically for them.
